Material Inspection

Independent verification that supplied material is what the certificate says it is — before it ships, not after it fails.

Material inspection is our founding practice. We verify that the plate, pipe, forging or casting in front of the inspector matches the certificate attached to it, and that both match the purchase order and the applicable standard.

The work starts on paper: a mill test certificate reviewed against EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 requirements, the specified grade, and the ordered test scope. It continues on the material itself — heat number traceability, marking and stamping, positive material identification where the service is critical, and dimensional, surface and coating checks against the drawing.

Where a certificate and the physical material disagree, the finding is raised on the day, with photographic evidence and the item's traceable identity attached. A flash report follows within 24 hours so you can decide whether the consignment moves.
