Mechanical inspection covers the tests and checks that establish whether fabricated equipment performs as specified — witnessed by our inspector rather than reported to you second-hand.
We attend tensile, hardness, impact and bend testing at the works or the test house, confirm that specimens are drawn from the correct material and orientation, and review the results against acceptance criteria. On the equipment itself we carry out fabrication and dimensional inspection, witness hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, and check rotating equipment and assemblies against drawing and datasheet.
The scope closes with final inspection and, where authorised, an inspection release note confirming the consignment is fit to ship.
